    The Sociology & Criminology Department offers programs that build important skills, such as systematic observation, critical thinking and writing competence, to best prepare students to understand and resolve societal issues of justice. Students are connected to real world agencies through internship experiences, community-based learning and directed studies that provide a foundation for future job opportunities or graduate studies. The Department offers majors and minors in anthropology, criminology and sociology
